Highway 103 collision results in serious injuries

At 5:09 p.m. on February 22 Bridgewater District RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision in Middlewood, at the intersection of Camperdown School Rd. and Hwy 103.

Initial investigation has determined that a car was travelling eastbound on Hwy 103 when another car failed to yield and crossed the center line, coming into the path of the eastbound car. The driver and passenger of the first car and the driver and two passengers of the other car all sustained injuries.

Four people were transported to the hospital via EHS and one person was transported to hospital via LifeFlight with serious injuries.

Highway 103 was closed for approximately one hour and has since reopened.
