Headingley RCMP investigate home invasion

On December 3, 2020, at approximately 8:40 am, Headingley RCMP responded to a report of a home invasion on Dodds Road, in the RM of Headingley.

At approximately 3:30 am, the 76-year-old homeowner, heard her doorbell ring and someone knocking. She did not answer, however a short time later, she was confronted by a male inside her home. The suspect demanded money, damaged her phone line, and then fled. In the morning when the homeowner's caregivers attended, they were informed of the home invasion and immediately contacted the police.

The 76-year-old female was not injured.

RCMP Forensic Identification Services attended and processed the scene.
