Between December 4, 2019, and January 5, 2020, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP responded to six reports of residential break and enters in the town. With assistance from RCMP Labrador Forensic Identification Services and information from the public, Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP charged 39-year-old Derek Jacobish, of Natuashish, with four counts of break and enter and three counts of breaching a court order. Jacobish was arrested and brought to court and has since been remanded into custody. He is set to attend court today.
