Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP arrests woman for impaired driving after striking McDonald’s on Cromer Avenue

A 48-year-old woman from Grand Falls-Windsor is facing charges of impaired driving following a complaint of a vehicle striking the McDonald's building on Cromer Avenue at approximately 12:10 a.m. on May 29, 2020.

Police responded to the collision and suspected the driver of the vehicle to be impaired. She was transported to the Grand Falls-Windsor Detachment where she provided breath samples that were three times the legal limit.

The woman's licence was suspended and her vehicle seized and impounded. She has been released from police custody and will appear in court at a later date to face charges of impaired driving.
