Glovertown RCMP investigates collision at Foodland involving a child on a pedal bike

Glovertown RCMP is investigating a collision that happened on June 12, 2020. A car was exiting the parking lot of Foodland in Glovertown and struck a child on a pedal bike.

Police received the report at approximately 2:35 p.m. The vehicle is described as a 4-door black sedan-style car. A woman wearing a pink shirt and having grey hair exited the passenger side of the vehicle to check on the child, who claimed to be ok. The passenger got back in the car and the vehicle left the parking lot.

The driver of the car was described as a man with grey hair. There was another younger man in the back seat of the car.

The child, who was knocked off of her bike, suffered minor injuries that did not require medical attention.

Police look to identify the driver and the two passengers of the car to be able to gather the necessary information about the collision.
