On March 31, 2020, the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP Traffic/Crime Reduction Unit located and arrested a known Crime Reduction Subject. This was the second arrest of this individual in the past week.
RCMP members arrested the female without incident for breaching Release Order conditions from a previous charge. During a search incidental to her arrest RCMP members entered into a drug investigation after the following items had been seized:
14.6 grams of Methamphetamine, Test-Enanthate & Trenbolone (Steroids), digital scale, drug paraphernalia and Canadian Currency, suspected of being proceeds of crime.
A 31-year-old female of Fort Saskatchewan was charged with nine offences including:
- Possession for The Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of a Controlled Substance x2
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
- Failure to Comply with Release Order x5
She was recently arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and Failing to Comply with Release Order following a vehicle stop on March 22, 2020. She had also been arrested and charged with Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking and weapons offences, following a vehicle stop on February 9, 2020 in Fort Saskatchewan.
