Fort Saskatchewan RCMP – rural patrols lead to seizure of Methamphetamine

On April 4, 2020 while conducting proactive patrols in the community of Bruderheim, Alberta members of the Fort Saskatchewan RCMP conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle found to be bearing a licence plate which did not match.

Subsequent to the traffic stop police determined the vehicle being operated was not registered. Police identified the vehicle occupants and found the male passenger had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. A search incidental to arrest was completed, and a small amount of Methamphetamine was seized.

A 36-year-old male from Edmonton was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and released from custody with a court date of July 9, 2020 in Fort Saskatchewan.
