On October 21, 2020, as a result of an ongoing investigation, officers from the Fisher Branch RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence located on the Peguis First Nation. The search of the residence resulted in the seizure of 48 grams of cocaine, over $19,000 in cash, several edged weapons and drug related paraphernalia.
Officers arrested two males, ages of 22 and 20, as well as a 21-year-old female, in response to this investigation. The three accused will be appearing in court in Peguis on January 19, 2021, on a charge of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.
