Drugs and ammunition seized during search warrant in Mayo

On February 22, 2020 Mayo RCMP, with assistance from the Emergency Response Team, executed a search warrant at a local residence on Duncan Avenue. The search did not yield any drugs, however, a vehicle was seized and a second search warrant was granted.

During the execution of the second search warrant on February 22, 2020 investigators seized the following:

  • A quantity of suspected crack cocaine;
  • A quantity of suspected methamphetamine;
  • A quantity of suspected heroin;
  • A large bag of ammunition.

34 year-old Bryan Lehman was arrested and is currently facing the following charges:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking methamphetamines
  • Possession of firearm while prohibited X 3
  • Possession of ammunition while prohibited X 3

"This investigation and subsequent seizure and arrest will certainly have an impact on the illicit drug trafficking in our community," says Detachment Commander Cpl. Robert Drapeau. "The RCMP from all across the territory will continue to share information, targeting individuals and properties associated to illegal activities."

Bryan Lehman is being remanded until his next court appearance on February 26, 2020.
