Cold Lake RCMP investigate structure fire at men’s shelter

On March 14, 2020 at approximately 5 p.m., Cold Lake RCMP, Fire and Emergency Services responded to a building structure fire in Cold Lake South.

The building suffered extensive interior damage, and several persons were treated on scene for smoke inhalation and other related injuries. A 50-year-old male from Cold Lake was transported via STARS to an Edmonton hospital in critical condition and has succumb to his injuries while in care.

Cold Lake General Investigative Section and the RCMP Forensic Identification Services continue to investigate.
