Burin Peninsula RCMP investigates two residential daytime break and enters

Burin Peninsula RCMP is investigating a break and enter with property damage and one attempted break and enter into two residences on Harris Drive in Marystown.

On the afternoon of March 21, 2020, police received a report from one of the home owners, who was inside the residence during the attempted break-in. Two individuals took off on foot after being startled by the home owner.

The individuals are described as being of a small stature, wearing black ski masks, black skidoo pants and having dark colored skidoo-style winter coats. One coat is thought to be red in color.

Police ask home owners to check any surveillance they may have in the area between the hours of noon and 1:30 pm.

The investigations are continuing.
