Bell Let's Talk Day at P.E.I. RCMP

January 29, 2020
Prince, Queens and Kings Counties, Prince Edward Island

News release

Today, January 29th is Bell Lets Talk Day and RCMP in Prince Edward Island are talking. Not about crime, but about each other and our mental health.

Employees took the day as an opportunity to take a look at those in our lives - be it at home or in our workplace - and make sure that we reach out to let them - to talk, or to help in whatever way is needed.

There has been some great work done over the years to reduce the stigma of mental health issues and the Bell Lets Talk Day brings the topic to the forefront. @RCMPPEITraffic Twitter account posted earlier today to ask all of the 15,617 followers to "re-tweet". If each one of those followers hit that button to retweet, $780.85 would be donated to the Bell Lets Talk campaign. Check it out and re-tweet if you get the chance and follow us if you haven't already!

Today we take the chance to work towards positive change - whether that means seeking help or offering support - any small action can have a huge difference.

Take care of each other and make sure to take care of yourself too!
