Bell Island RCMP investigates break and enter at two separate residences on Bell island

Bell Island RCMP is investigating two residential break and enters that occurred sometime between August 5-8, 2020.

On August 7, 2020, police received the report that a shed and basement located on Ford Street was broken into. An officer attended the scene and found that windows of the shed were broken and the basement door frame was damaged. It is believed the incident occurred sometime between August 5- 7, 2020.

On August 8, 2020, police received the report of break and enter at a vacant residence on Fitzpatrick's Lane. Officers attended the scene and found that there was significant damage done to the rear door and front window. It is believed the incident occurred sometime between August 7-8, 2020.

The investigation into both these incidents is continuing.
