Bay St. George RCMP responds to 107 calls in the last seven days

Bay St. George RCMP were busy last week responding to 107 calls for service, with a range of issues resulting in the calls: animal cruelty, assaults, break and enters, careless use of a firearm, criminal harassment, disturbing the peace, drug trafficking, erratic driving, flight from police, illegal fireworks, impaired driving, intimate partner violence and other forms of domestic violence, a lightning strike, loud music, mental health crises, off-road vehicle infractions, property damage, residential and commercial alarms, sexual assaults, suspicious persons, theft, traffic accidents, and vehicle fires.

High call volumes from the public also continue to be received with respect to vehicle registration, insurance and drivers licence renewals. Police remind the public that the Motor Registration Division and/or your insurance company administer these services.
