One man is deceased following a collision between an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) and a SUV that occurred last night in Conne River.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., Bay d'Espoir RCMP were called to the report of a head-on collision between the two vehicles. The ATV was driving down a residential street when the collision occurred. The driver of the ATV, who was not wearing a helmet during the collision, was transported for medical attention and died at the hospital. The driver of the SUV received minor injuries.
A Collision Reconstructionist with RCMP Traffic Services attended the scene and the investigation is continuing.
