Alberta RCMP in support of Family Violence Prevention Month

November is Family Violence Prevention Month in Alberta, and the RCMP is a proud supporter of this initiative.

According to Statistics Canada, Alberta has the third highest rate of self-reported intimate-partner violence among the provinces. With increased awareness, along with the support and help of partner agencies and all community members, we can make a positive impact on the fight against this destructive and preventable public safety issue.

The Alberta RCMP would like to highlight the following events occurring in the province:

  • Parkland Detachment

  • November 19, 2020, 2:30-3:30 p.m. - Coffee with the Community
