The RCMP Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate the death of a male which occurred on June 18, 2020 in Leduc County at a house party. The RCMP is looking for assistance from the people present to identify the subjects responsible.
The death of 19-year-old Jacob Michael Chitze of Edmonton has been ruled a homicide. There was no known connection between Jacob and his assailants.
There were approximately 100 party-goers and it is very likely that people took video of the incident leading to Jacob's death.
The RCMP is asking that anyone who was at the party who either has information to provide, or has video, to please contact the Leduc RCMP at 780-980-7267.
