On October 24, 2019, at approximately 10:45 a.m, Grand Falls-Windsor RCMP were advised of a possible impaired driver in Botwood.
Police located the described vehicle and driver, a 42-year-old woman. The officer determined that she was impaired by alcohol. She was arrested and brought back to the detachment in Grand Falls-Windsor, where she provided breath samples that were three times over the legal limit.
The woman's licence was suspended and her vehicle was impounded. She was released from custody to appear in court on January 15, 2020.
