RCMP seeks public’s help in robbery at Florian Hotel in Forteau

Forteau RCMP are investigating a robbery that took place at a local hotel between 8:00 and 8:30 a.m. on December 11, 2019.

Two men entered the Florian Hotel in Forteau demanding money. They fled the scene with cash and liquor and were driving a dirt-covered black pick-up truck that was last seen driving toward Main Street.

The men are between 25 to 40 years of age, approximately 6 feet tall, both wearing black hoodies, black balaclavas, dark blue jeans, and green rubber Baffin boots.

Police are continuing with their investigation and are asking anyone with information on this matter to please call Forteau RCMP at 709-931-2790.
