RCMP seek hit-and-run driver

The Oromocto RCMP is seeking the public's help to locate the driver of a vehicle that left the scene of a collision with a pedestrian in Geary, N.B.

On October 30, 2019, sometime between 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m., a man walking north on Broad Road and was struck by a vehicle. The man was found by a passerby, lying on the ground between civic numbers 729 and 736. The vehicle involved in the collision had left the scene.

The man was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Police have not been able to obtain a description of the vehicle or driver.

Anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who has information about the driver is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or www.crimenb.ca.
