Man arrested and charged in connection with bank robberies

A 33-year-old Moncton man has been arrested and charged in connection with investigations into two recent bank robberies in Moncton.

The man was arrested in the early morning hours of November 21, 2019, by members of the Codiac Regional RCMP.

On November 21, Chad Adam Noël appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with two counts of armed robbery. The charges are in connection to an armed robbery that occurred at the TD Bank on Regis Street on November 15, and an armed robbery at the CIBC branch on Mountain Road on November 19.

Chad Noël was remanded into custody and is scheduled to return to court on November 22, 2019.
