On Aug. 9, 2019 at approximately 8 a.m., Bonnyville RCMP responded to a single vehicle collision south of Bonnyville on Range Road 460. Preliminary investigation revealed a car drove off the road colliding into bushes off road. A 68-year-old female from Bonnyville was pronounced deceased at the scene. A child occupant was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
On Aug. 9, 2019 at 5 p.m., Bonnyville RCMP responded to a UTV (side by side) rollover at Tucker Lake. The 15-year-old driver of the UTV was pronounced deceased at the scene. Three other youth occupants suffered minor injuries.
Both investigations continue, and no further updates are anticipated.
