News release

Due to an increase in moose vehicle collisions in the Bay St. George area, RCMP advises motorists to exercise caution. Since October 18, 2019, police officers have responded to three non-life threatening moose vehicle collisions in the area.

Motorists should pay close attention to the road when driving on the highway and through wooded areas. Moose are more active at night and early morning and can be difficult to see. Remain alert, wear your seatbelt and reduce speeds.
