On Jan. 10, 2019, a joint operation was conducted with Boyle and Athabasca RCMP Detachments, Alberta Sheriffs and the Eastern Alberta District Rural Crime Reduction Unit (EADRCRU) which resulted in the arrest of multiple individuals and the recovery of stolen property.

Police were making efforts to locate a male in Athabasca County who was wanted for various offences across several jurisdictions. While doing so, they discovered a property which contained stolen vehicles and off-road vehicles. A search warrant was executed at the property and two males and a female were arrested.
