Arrest made after shots fired at a vehicle

The Northeast District RCMP have arrested a 30-year-old man following an incident during which shots were fired at a vehicle in Blackville, N.B.

Just after 4 a.m. on December 18, 2019, Blackville RCMP responded to a report of shots being fired at a vehicle on Wolf Drive. Two people were inside the vehicle at the time. No one was injured.

A short time later, police arrested a 30-year-old Blackville man at a residence in connection with the shooting. Police searched the home and seized a weapon.

The man was released on conditions and will appear in court at a later date.
