At approximately 10:00 a.m. on May 10, 2018, Bay St. George RCMP received a report that a United Airlines flight had to make an emergency landing at Stephenville Airport due to a medical emergency with one of its passengers.
A 46-year-old man from the U.S. was transported to Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital for non-life threatening health issues.
The plane, which had been travelling from Germany to Chicago, departed shortly thereafter.
