A 21-year-old man from Cumberland Bay, N.B., and a 39-year-old woman from Fredericton are dead following a head-on collision in Welsford.
On July 24, 2017, around 4:08, a car driven by the man crossed the centre line on Route 7 in Welsford and collided head-on with the car driven by the woman. Both drivers died at the scene. There were no passengers in either vehicles.
The road was closed for almost five hours while emergency crews attended the scene.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
