G8 Wanted Child Sexual Offenders

The G8 Wanted Child Sex Offender Initiative, undertaken in collaboration with INTERPOL's General Secretariat headquarters in Lyon, France, aims to identify and apprehend wanted child sex offenders from across G8 countries by bringing together initiatives relating to child sex offenders from all G8 countries where they exist.

This initiative was established in recognition that countries need to work together in order to counter the threat posed by child sex offenders. G8 countries recognize the importance of combating that threat by working collaboratively with INTERPOL's General Secretariat.
