Wanted by the RCMP - Christopher David MEER

Wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for two counts of Arson, two counts of Conspiracy to commit Arson, one count of Extortion and one count of Conspiracy to commit Extortion

Christopher David MeerChristopher David Meer conspired with his father, Jonathan David Meer, two friends, Dustin Pisesky and Nicholas Radloff, and another male to commit a series of arsons and extortions.

On March 25 2007, he participated in an arson to a summer vacation home valued at $1.2 million dollars in Mulhurst Bay, Alberta. In this fire, the homeowner escaped without injury but the family dog died.

On December 20th 2007, Christopher David Meer conspired to commit an arson in Edmonton, Alberta. In this fire, people were at home, and one individual who was awakened in his sleep suffered burns. The home was a complete loss. These same individuals extorted the owner of both of these homes and threatened the lives of family members unless a civil suit was dropped or accepted on terms demanded by Jonathan David Meer.

Knowing that he was wanted by Canadian authorities, Meer entered the United States at the port of Sweetgrass, Montana on April 25th 2008, in an effort to evade arrest. We believe that at this time Meer was driving a grey Land Rover model LK3 with Alberta plates.
