Wanted for Attempted Murder

At approximately 21:30 hours on 78-11-25, Vernon RCMP responded to a call in the South Vernon area to investigate a domestic violence complaint. Upon arrival, the female victim was found lying in the balcony of her home. The victim, later identified as ALEXIS’ common law spouse, had been stabbed several times in the forehead and back area. An 8-inch butcher knife was recovered at the scene. Police have three witnesses who observed ALEXIS commit the stabbing. ALEXIS fled the scene and has never since been located. The victim recovered from her injuries and a Canada-wide warrant was issued for ALEXIS, who is believed to have relocated to Washington State (possibly Omac County) and is known to have re-entered Canada on occasion via the Osoyoos border crossing.
