Impaired Driving

The RCMP has made impaired driving an operational priority.

Through a series of nationally coordinated impaired driving enforcement days, awareness campaigns and partner engagement the RCMP continues to work to stop alcohol and drug impaired drivers.

"I encourage all Canadians in this effort to help change attitudes and behaviours, and ultimately to save lives. A small decision can have great consequences. Let's make the right choice before we get behind the wheel. Everyone has the right to come home safe." – RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson
