The Canadian Bomb Data Centre (CBDC) is a centre of policing expertise on:
A part of the RCMP’s CBRNE Operations, the CBDC is primarily a resource for Canadian and international police services and partner agencies engaged in combating the illegal use of explosives. Police services can consult with the experts at the CBDC for assistance, advice and access to an extensive library of information about explosives disposal and post-blast investigation. For more information, see Resources for Police Services .
The CBDC makes information available to businesses and individuals to help them develop response plans and procedures in case they receive a bomb threat or suspicious mail. See Information for Businesses and Individuals .
We collect data from Canadian police services on the criminal use of explosives in Canada and produce an annual report of the statistics. See Criminal Use of Explosives in Canada .
The Canadian Bomb Data Centre program is provided by the RCMP's Technical Operations.
