If you are able to answer “YES” to all of the following questions, we encourage you to contact 1-877-RCMP-GRC to register for the RCMP Police Aptitude Test (RPAT).

2.	Are you at least 18 years of age?
3.	Do you have a high school diploma or equivalency?
4.	Do you possess an unrestricted Canadian driver’s licence and consider yourself a safe driver?
5.	Are you ready for a career that may require you to be transferred anywhere in Canada?
6.	Are you aware that the RCMP has vision and hearing standards?
7.	Are you healthy and physically fit? Could you pass the RCMP’s physical ability test (PARE)?
8.	Have you reviewed the Regular Member Applicant Questionnaire (Form 5096), and are you willing to participate in a Pre-Employment Polygraph Interview & Examination?
9.	Do you refrain from the use of illicit drugs?
10.	Would you be prepared to carry a firearm and to use it, as well as use any other necessary physical force to protect yourself and others from bodily harm or death?
11.	Do you consider yourself honest, trustworthy, and reliable?
12.	Are you willing to work shifts, including weekends and holidays?
13.	Do you like working in a team environment?
14.	Do you think you can work with people from various cultures?
