O Division Greater Toronto Area (GTA)

The Greater Toronto Area (“GTA”) covers approximately 30,000 square kilometres stretching as far north as Muskoka District Municipality, east to Northumberland and Peterborough Counties, and west as far as Halton Regional Municipality and Dufferin County.

RCMP “O” Division GTA encompasses all of the GTA census divisions and also includes Muskoka District Municipality, Dufferin,Haliburton, Peterborough and Simcoe Counties, and Kawartha Lakes Division.

Investigative teams travel throughout the GTA to conduct their policing operations, regardless of worksite.

The “O” Division RCMP enhances its police operations by working closely with police partners and other law enforcement agencies for a safe and secure Canada.

There are fifteen Police Services in the GTA, they are:
