The Cornwall Regional Task Force
This integrated unit is comprised of members from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the Cornwall Community Police Service (CCPS), the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), the Ontario Ministry of Revenue (MOR) and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
Criminal Intelligence Section
Cornwall has an integrated unit which includes Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), Cornwall Community Police Service (CCPS), Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), New York State Police (NYSP), United States Border patrol (USBP), Ministry of Revenue (MOR), Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service (AMPS) and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Their role is to coordinate efforts to ensure all the units are intelligence led.
Members of Cornwall Regional Task Force regularly work alongside law enforcement partners in the region. Some of these partners include, Canada Border Services Agency, Cornwall Community Police Service, Ontario Provincial Police, Revenue Canada, Ontario Ministry of Revenue, Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service, United States Homeland Security, United States Customs, United States Border Patrol, Tribal Police and New York State Police.
Because of our proximity to the USA, border integrity is a major component of our duties. Given that the border in our jurisdiction is located entirely within the confines of the St. Lawrence River, marine patrols are common place. In many cases our marine patrols are conducted in concert with our partners.

The members and staff of the Cornwall Regional Task Force participate in numerous community activities and events, such as the Racing Against Drugs/Crime Prevention Program, Safe Grad presentations, Remembrance Day ceremonies, Christmas caroling at local senior citizen homes and First Nations Liaison.
In addition to serving the community as coaches and volunteers, members are also proud to support such programs as the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics.
