Two-Way Street

Two-Way Street is a program designed to educate parents about effective ways to discuss drug and alcohol use with their children. Published in collaboration with the Alberta Alcohol and Drug Abuse Commission (AADAC), the program is aimed at parents with children aged 10-15 years. Topics covered include the effects of drugs and alcohol, the law, why youth may be tempted to experiment with drugs, what alternatives are available to parents who wish to intervene, and what types of resource agencies are available. Along with instruction and interaction, participants also receive a handy guidebook addressing some of the key discussion areas.
