Yesterday, February 22nd, RCMP Northern Traffic Services charged a 24-year-old man from Newmarket, New Brunswick with Stunting.
At approximately 6:00 p.m., RCMP clocked a vehicle traveling 164 km/h in a 110 km/h zone. The Pontiac G6 was traveling west from Antigonish on Hwy 104 near Exit 6, at Oxford, Cumberland County.
RCMP Traffic Services stopped the west bound vehicle and the man was charged with Stunting under the Motor Vehicle Act. The driver received an automatic license suspension for seven days and his vehicle has been impounded for seven days. Upon conviction, the driver also faces a fine of more than $2400 and an automatic six points will be assigned to his drivers's record.
