Police Dog Services

Police dogs and their handlers are an elite group within the RCMP. They are highly trained and can make or break an investigation. The RCMP in Newfoundland and Labrador has four police dogs and handlers. Cst. Bill Frisby and Zak are stationed in Grand Falls - Windsor District, Cpl. Jason Butler and Mazer are stationed in Bay Roberts, Sgt. Chris Gladney and Mirko are stationed in Holyrood and Cpl. Glenn Brown and Cak are stationed in Bay St. George. All four dog handlers and dogs, are a provincial resource and will be deployed throughout the province as necessary.
