Major Crime Unit (MCU)

The Major Crime Unit’s mission is to provide a group of highly trained police officers to respond to any major crime scene in Newfoundland and Labrador. They conduct in depth and thorough investigations. MCUs are located in St. John’s, Gander and Corner Brook. When incidents occur, detachment members from the local offence area and MCU members are brought together to build an investigative team.
