Online Child Sexual Exploitation

The Internet has changed the way child sexual exploitation offences are committed, investigated, and prosecuted. The RCMP is committed to reducing the vulnerability and exploitation of children by:

  • identifying victimized children
  • investigating and assisting in the prosecution of sexual offenders
  • providing training, education, operational research, and investigative support to our policing partners

The National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre (NCECC) is an integral part of Canada’s response to the growing and disturbing crime of online child sexual exploitation.
