With its extensive coastline and many small ports, New Brunswick has long been a destination for smugglers of drugs, alcohol, tobacco and other contraband. The Coastal/Airport Watch Program involves the community in patrolling New Brunswick’s coastline, airways and highways by encouraging citizens to report suspicious activity. Such tips have lead to the seizure of millions of dollars in drugs along our coast -- in fact, tips from citizens are responsible for the majority of successful smuggling seizures.
You are the best judge of what activity is suspicious in your community!
