Tobacco Seizure, Brantville, N.B.

On Sunday, November 9, 2008, the District 8 Acadian Peninsula Street Unit, in cooperation with Neguac and Tracadie-Sheila Detachments, executed a search warrant at a Brantville, NB residence.

Police seized 25 cases of unstamped tobacco, which would be enough to produce 250,000 cigarettes with a street value of $37,500.

As a result of this search, charges will soon be laid against those involved.
