Train collides with tractor trailer, Napadogan, N.B.

The District 2 Oromocto RCMP are investigating a collision between a CN Railway freight train and a tractor trailer in Napadogan, N.B. The incident occurred on Friday January 29th, 2010, at approximately 19:30 hours.

Due to poor weather and road conditions, the tractor trailer was unable to safely cross the railroad before the train approached. All parties involved escaped without injury however the damage to property was significant.

The road and railway were shut down until early Saturday morning as crews worked to remove the wreckage.
