Drug Seizures in Pineville, Quarryville and Barnetville, N.B.

On Friday, January 22, 2010 the Crime Reduction Team of the District 6 RCMP effected three simultaneous search warrants in homes located in Pineville, Quarryville and Barnetville.

During the searches officers seized marijuana plants and growing equipment from the properties and 3 men were arrested for drug related charges. The men were released from custody and will appear in court at a later date.

The 35 year old man from Barnetville will also be facing charges for theft of power, unsafe storage of a firearm and illegal possession of wild meat.

This operation was a part of District 6 RCMP's ongoing strategy to dismantle and disrupt the distribution and use of illicit drugs in the area and to reduce crime.
