Acadian Peninsula RCMP - Two individuals sentenced for stealing a large amount of cash, Tracadie-Sheila (N.-B.)

Two men charged with breaking and entering and stealing cash were sentenced in Provincial Court in Tracadie-Sheila on January 22, 2010.

Danny Boudreau, of Losier Settlement, was sentenced to 32 months in jail and Robert Mallet, of Rang Saint-George, was sentenced to 42 months in jail.

These sentences were related to the theft of $125,000 from a residence in the Tracadie-Sheila area last September. Several individuals were charged in connection with this theft.

A total of $44, 054 was seized as a result of this investigation and returned to the owner. A car was also forfeited in this matter.
