8 “Johns” to appear in court, Moncton, N.B.

Eight men will be appearing in Moncton Provincial Court on March 26, 2010 to face prostitution related charges.

Last week the Codiac Regional RCMP Street Crime Unit arrested eight “Johns” as the result of prostitution enforcement efforts.

The men, between the ages of 26 to 64, were arrested on Bonnacord, Dufferin, Highfield, Park and St George Streets in Moncton. The men are from Dieppe, Memramcook, Miramichi, Moncton, Millview (P.E.I) and Waterfront (Ontario).

These arrests are part of an on-going effort by Codiac Regional RCMP to increase efforts to curb sex trade activities. The Codiac Regional RCMP’s primary objective is to ensure safe homes and safe communities for all citizens. With your information, we can solve crime.
