Motor vehicle crash with serious injuries, Grand Falls, N.B.

A 911 call about a motor vehicle crash with injuries was received on Tuesday, January 19, 2010 at approximately 7 p.m. Police from the Grand Falls RCMP, firefighters from the village of Drummond and paramedics from the area responded to the call and arrived on the scene a few minutes later on Ennishone Road near Drummond.

According to the preliminary observations, the crash was apparently caused by slippery roads. The three occupants of the two vehicles were all transported to the Grand Falls Hospital. One of the passengers was in a critical condition and was subsequently transferred to the Edmundston Hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
