One man arrested and drugs seized during search, Tobique First Nation, N.B.

On January 15, 2010, District 10 RCMP effected a search warrant at a home on the Tobique First Nation, N.B. Drugs, money and a firearm were seized.

A 52-year old Tobique man was arrested at the scene and later released. He is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

The search and seizure was the second one conducted by members of the District 10 RCMP in the past five days and is part of the RCMP's ongoing effort to disrupt and dismantle the distribution and use of illicit drugs in the area.
