Crime of the week: Arson, Kedgwick, N.B.

Crime Stoppers and the District 9 RCMP, Saint-Quentin detachment, are looking for the people responsible for setting two fires in Kedgwick, New Brunswick.

On Friday, February 20th, and on Wednesday, March 18th, 2009, the Saint-Quentin RCMP and Kedgwick fire fighters responded to two separate fires at "le Casse-Croûte du coin" situated at 64 Notre Dame Street in Kedgwick. Investigation revealed that both fires were purposely set.

Damages incurred on both occasions were severe. In one incident, two suspects were captured on a security camera inside the building. Police are asking the public for information that may help solve these cases of arson.
