Man injured in stabbing, Moncton, N.B.

Codiac Regional RCMP are investigating a stabbing that occurred on Highfield Street in Moncton N.B. on May 11, 2012, at approximately 7:00 p.m.

The victim, a 33-year-old Moncton man, was stabbed and suffered serious injuries. He is currently in hospital in stable condition.

One male suspect has been arrested. Police believe another male was also involved and are searching for him. Both suspects are known to the victim and to police.

The investigation is ongoing.
